My story

I am an ICF certified coach helping people build a better life and career. I specialize in helping individuals assert their worth, grow, and succeed in life and the workplace.

Also, I am super passionate about empowering the under-valued and helping them realize their full potential. My personal goal is to educate, empower, and elevate 1 million Latinos by 2023. 

I am a former tech corporate executive and have coached professionals from many Fortune 100 companies. I ran a $48 million dollar business for a publicly traded company, directed global and national business initiatives, and led all Diversity and Multicultural marketing and communications programs for Microsoft Corporation.

I have a unique skill set: doing business and career coaching, being a tech industry executive with more than 25 years’ experience, running and growing businesses, leading cross-company global and national initiatives, coaching professionals in Fortune 100 companies, leading diversity and multicultural programs, being an inspirational storyteller, and delivering keynotes at top companies and universities. 

Specifically, I have coached professionals from companies such as Amazon, AT&T, Bank of America, Citigroup, Facebook, Google, IBM, Kellogg’s, Merck, Microsoft, Starbucks, Symetra, Twitter, Under Armour, Unilever, U.S. Cellular, Whirlpool, and many others. My clients have seen tangible results in their professional and personal lives, including career acceleration, improved relationships with managers, and a greater sense of accomplishment and personal satisfaction. I have also taught or facilitated seminars on leadership development, career advancement, communications, values, strategic planning, and negotiations with corporate clients. 

I have held leadership positions at publicly traded companies including Microsoft Corp. and Marchex, where I ran and grew a $48 million-dollar business. I co-founded companies that provided services to The Nobel Peace Prize organization, Starbucks, Google, and Microsoft. Before my almost 20 years at Microsoft, I did Marketing and Brand Management at Procter & Gamble.

I was born and grew up in Puerto Rico. I hold an MBA from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. I am credentialed as an Associate Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I also completed the Coach U Core Essentials for Coaching, the UCLA Latino Leadership Institute, and the Northwestern University Executive Marketing programs.

I love helping non-profit organizations and I am currently on the Board of Directors of the ICF (International Coaching Federation) Foundation. Previously, I was the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Hopelink, Seattle Eastside’s leading community services organization, and co-chaired its capital campaign. I also was a Board Member of Global Partnerships, an organization dedicated to expanding opportunities for impoverished people via microfinancing.

I have received several awards, including Latin Business Magazine’s “Top 100 U.S. Hispanics to Watch”, “Top 100 Prominent Latinos in the Business World”, the National Urban League’s Donald H. McGannon Service Award, and Defining Trends Magazine’s “Latino Trendsetters” award. I have been a keynote speaker or panelist at top companies and universities, key diversity events, including the NCLR, National Urban League, US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce conventions, Hispanicize, and Future of Latin Media – Convergence conferences and corporate Hispanic Heritage Month activities. I have been featured in Business Insider, many podcasts, top Latino TV, and radio outlets such as Univision, Telemundo, CNN en Espanol, and public broadcasting stations. 

I created and host a podcast, Success Stories, where I interview top leaders who inspire through their stories, experiences, and advice.
